The BESS Consultant will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimising Battery Energy Storage Systems, ensuring the organisation's commitment to sustainable and efficient energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing client energy needs and recommending suitable BESS solutions.
• Designing and developing specifications for BESS projects, considering technical and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to seamlessly integrate BESS into existing systems.
• Conducting feasibility studies and providing cost-benefit analyses for proposed BESS projects.
• Staying abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to Energy Storage Systems.
• Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborating with clients to understand their goals and tailoring BESS solutions accordingly.
• Analysing and interpreting data to optimise BESS performance and efficiency.
• Contributing to the development of proposals and project documentation.
• Fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing Battery Energy Storage Systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Energy Storage technologies, regulations, and market trends.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools.
