- You'll monitor designer output (internal and outsourced) in terms of cost, time and quality to ensure consistent implementation of Powerlink's Protection standards.
- You'll be involved in resource planning and coordination to ensure timely Protection Systems delivery and successful project outcomes.
- You'll provide technical leadership to the Protection Systems team including RPEQ approvals, coaching and training to ensure a consistently high standard of technical performance.
- You'll influence design standards to ensure Powerlink standards are in line with current protection design practices.
- Demonstrated technical leadership experience in developing professional design staff, who provide support services to large infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and ensure consistent implementation of Protection Systems standards, for both internal and outsourced designs.
- Demonstrated ability to seek out better solutions for secondary system projects outside of current standard.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure team members continue to develop their knowledge and skills to meet Powerlink's Protection Systems standards. Working knowledge of Project Management.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislative requirements (Electricity Act, Workplace Health & Safety Act, Environmental Protection Act, etc).
