Established in 2008, with offices in Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and New Zealand, BidWrite is Australasia’s leading specialist tender consultancy. For more than 15 years we’ve helped local, national and global companies win more tenders. We work across all industries – but focus on infrastructure, energy, facilities management, Defence, ICT, and professional and human services.
Using a strategic approach and scientifically proven persuasive techniques, we help our clients identify, define and then articulate the value of their products and services in ways that persuade their customers to choose them over their competitors.
With an increasing demand for our services, we are now seeking experienced Bid Consultants for permanent, full-time roles.
Are you passionate about bidding?
Our Bid Consultants provide professional consulting and writing services to our clients in support of tender and proposal responses. We operate in a deadline driven environment where our focus is always on delivering compelling submissions that give clients the best chance of winning.
To succeed, our Bid Consultants need to:
- Be familiar with tenders and tendering
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with our clients to understand their business processes and methodologies
- Help our clients understand their key discriminators and build a winning case
- Work under pressure at times to meet rigid submission deadlines.
- Consulting directly with clients to help them understand what is needed to win and ensuring submission guidelines are met
- Writing and managing submissions for smaller clients
- Writing sections of large tenders as part of a wider team
- Structuring, formatting, and producing professional submission documents.
Our 15 years in this business have taught us that the best Bid Consultants are intelligent people with enquiring minds and great communication skills.
In our environment though, we are judged by what we write. It is essential that you can:
- Solve problems and present clear arguments in a logical manner
- Organise and present content in a logical and eye-catching way
- Write well, translating complex information into concise and persuasive English
- Apply your attention to detail and MS Office skills to compile and present professional documents.
You are confident in group situations and build relationships easily. Your love of learning, and the development opportunities we provide, will see you further the craft of tendering over time.
Overall, you’re the kind of person who thrives on juggling multiple tasks and working as part of a team to achieve success for our clients.
Other experiences which will be advantageous in this role include having worked in one or more of our focus industries.
When joining BidWrite, you’ll enjoy:
- The best bid training in the country through our own Bid Academy and with our team of certified experts who will teach you how it’s done properly
- The backing of a brand with strong market reputation

- Ongoing professional development, including our inhouse ‘Bid Club’ and company funded APMP Certification
- A company investing in developing its own Generative AI bidding tool that will very soon be used for our own consulting work.
- Being part of a national team that gets together online every Friday to recap the week, share learnings and have a laugh.
