About the Opportunity
Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Bids and Proposals Specialist to join our growing business. Working closely with the wider Business Development (BD) team, the Bids and Proposals Specialist will support Service Stream’s growth managing the day to day coordination of the bid and tender processes creating high quality, strategic responses that fulfil our client requests.
Nature of Position: Permanent, full-time opportunity
Reporting Line: General Manager – Business Development
Location: Flexible – can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne
Key Responsibilities
Bid content development

• Source relevant business information from across the business to respond to tender questions and criteria.
• Create bespoke content to respond to customer questions and criteria.
• Identify opportunities for visual content.
• Direct bid team members to develop specific content as needed by the tender, ie operational plans.
• Assign tasks including document management, formatting expectations, graphics development.

Governance

• Prepare and coordinate the develop of governance documents.
• Ensure governance timing and criteria are met.
• Manage the Business’ tendering processes and systems, accountable for recording current accurate portfolio information.

Skills and Experience

• 2 or more years’ experience in a coordination role.
• Desirable experience or knowledge in Telecommunications industry.
• Required knowledge of Telecommunications field services.
• Required knowledge of Telecommunications design and construct services.
• Previous experience within a Business Development team (highly desirable).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong business and commercial acumen.
