In this role, you will support APAC clients, suppliers and customers with ISN's flagship product (ISNetworld) and new subsidiary product (Transparency-One). As a Bilingual Account Representative (Japanese & English) you will have the distinct opportunity to use your language skills in support of both English and Japanese speaking customers. Your work will include a balance of account management, prospecting new business, and new supplier onboarding.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Proactively service and support ISNetworld & Transparency-One supplier clients and hiring clients
- Lead and support prospecting efforts including calls, emails, and new business meetings
- Handle client account management functions, including invoicing and collections, driving account expansion and engagement through ongoing client outreach
- Conduct regular client meetings and training via phone, web-based calls, and face-to-face meetings
- Participate in the implementation of sales and marketing projects which will include occasionally assisting with translation to ensure ISN's brand is maintained across cultures
- Effectively leverage current in-country customers and contacts to research and develop new business leads in international markets
- Field incoming calls, handle customer inquiries and troubleshoot problems
- Research and develop various resources and reference documents for clients
- Support and lead events including industry roundtables
- Assist with planning of annual executive review meetings with client leadership to review account progress, data analysis, benchmarking and develop goals for the upcoming year
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience
- Excellent verbal and written bilingual communication skills in English and Japanese
Knowledge and Skills
- 3+ years of experience in new business development, account management, and/or sales
- Capacity to master the functionality in ISNetworld & Transparency-One platforms
- Ability to work with multi-national companies and various leadership levels
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel internationally up to 30% of the time
- Flexibility for hybrid schedule (in-office collaboration on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays)
