Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Driving the adoption and advancement of Building Information Modelling and Digital Engineering initiatives within the GHD Northern Australian Region.
- The guiding & influencing of design teams to achieve successful project outcomes in Building Information Modelling and Information Management.
- Provide assistance during tendering with proposals and submissions to define BIM scope, workflows and plans on projects.
- Assist in the consistent deployment and adoption of new technologies/ applications across the Market Sector and Region.
- Ensure projects across the market sector are implemented BIM & IM processed as defined by Client Standards, GHD Manuals and industry best practices.
- Engage with all staff as necessary to implement BIM and IM delivery across the project.
- Develop, Implement and administer the BIM Execution Plan’s (BEP’s) ensuring stakeholders are in alignment.
What would you bring to the team?
- Degree Qualified or equivalent in a relevant field such as Engineering or BIM Management plus significant industry experience.
- Proven working knowledge of a primary 3D software authoring application product including model configuration, setup, and management within a common data environment.
- Minimum 5 – 7 years of hands-on BIM modeling experience, demonstrating competency in complex infrastructure projects.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving: Ability to analyse challenges, develop innovative solutions, and champion new BIM workflows.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Due to nature of certain projects, the ideal candidate must either hold Australian citizenship or have the capability to acquire and uphold a Defence security clearance.
