Our team in New South Wales are an important part of the Intrax business and have a track record of growth and success over many years. We now have a rare opportunity to join the team as a BIM Manager.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Co-ordinate delivery of CAD/Revit documentation for structural team
- Manage documentation deliverables for both local and offshore drafting staff
- Coordinate drafting resources to align with project deliverables and deadlines
- Documenting projects in both AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
- Monitoring quality and conformance with company processes and procedures
- Continuously improve system tasks and processes
- Be responsible for database design, data extraction, and transformation.
- Conduct model reviews to ensure compliance with BIM standards, accuracy of data, and coordination of design elements.
As an ideal candidate you will have:
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in BIM implementation and management, preferably in the AEC industry.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 19650, COBie, IFC).
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with ability to liaise in a friendly manner
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) or BuildingSMART Professional (BSP) are desirable.
- Proficiency in creating construction documentation (drawings, schedules, specifications)
- Knowledge of structural engineering and building code requirements
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Strong organisational and time management skills
