Working closely with an experienced team, the Biomedical Instructor will develop and deliver maintenance and repair focused training to the Australian Defence Force as part of an initiative to increase ADF Deployable Health Capability.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- working with other instructors from a variety of clinical and allied health craft groups to redevelop a biomedical equipment maintenance course for a large client
- supporting other technicians in the development of training material
- conduct and facilitate training on the maintenance of biomedical equipment including supporting the development of a biomedical servicing business.
- Support Aspen Medical Therapeutic Goods committee as Biomedical SME, as required

Essential Experience and Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary or vocational qualifications with experience in biomedical maintenance or a related field
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse complex issues and develop practical solutions
- Competent in use of business software (MS Office such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word software)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional leadership and presenting skills
- Experience servicing a broad range of medical equipment in tertiary hospitals and remote or deployable clinics is highly desirable.
