DutiesHandling Detector Dogs in varying operational environments to detect and prevent biosecurity risks to Tasmania. Undertake clearances of passengers, freight, mail and vehicles at border and post-border environments in Tasmania and assist in the safety and wellbeing of Detector Dogs.

Essential Requirements
- Satisfactory security clearance as required by port authorities.
- Current unrestricted motor vehicle driver’s licence.
- A Certificate III or Certificate IV qualification in companion animal services or dog handling and government investigations or statutory compliance relevant to the nature of the work to be undertaken, as provided by either a university, a vocational education organisation or a registered and accredited training provider.
