What we are looking for:

We’re looking for a someone with experience in and a passion for biosecurity to join our team. You’ll be a critical member of the team responsible for implementing our Biosecurity Plan and Annual Action Plan.

• Conducting pest, animal and weed activities (including baiting and trapping)
• Undertaking field surveys
• Carrying out chemical control and spraying schedules
• Participating in public awareness and education initiatives

What you should have to apply:

You’ll have worked in similar role and will have a robust knowledge of pest control and identification. You’ll be confident and capable working autonomously and will be able to respond efficiently to customer requests. You’ll have strong communication skills and a level of administration and record keeping skills.

You’ll have:

• Current QLD Class C drivers licence
• Queensland Firearms Licence or eligibility to obtain one
• Pest Management Technicians Licence
• Commercial Operators Licence 
• Current QLD Boat Licence or ability to obtain
