Bitumen / Asphalt operators

We are currently seeking experienced and skilled Spray Seal and Asphalt Operators to join our clients dynamic team. As a key member of the specialist crew, you will play a crucial role in the successful completion of various road construction and maintenance projects. If you have experience in bitumen or asphalt we have many role available from labourer to Spray seal.
Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain spray seal and asphalt equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications.
• Apply spray seal and asphalt to road surfaces with precision and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Work collaboratively with the crew to achieve project goals and deadlines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Troubleshoot and address any issues that may arise during the application process.
• Follow project specifications, blueprints, and instructions to meet quality standards.
• Complete daily reports and documentation as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in any of the roles listed below.
• Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of your equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and guidelines in a construction environment.
• Ability to work well within a team and independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and relevant certifications for your role (HR/MR).
• White Card / Blue Card
• Tickets / VOC for plant as required

Full time rates range from $32p/h to $39p/h Plus overtime, night shift allowance, living away from home, RDO etc.
