Countrywide Asphalt and Civil provides a range of services in road construction and maintenance including pavement construction, pavement stabilisation, asphalt paving, and sprayed sealing. Operating from two depots located in Dubbo NSW and Wodonga VIC, Countrywide Asphalt and Civil services a range of private and government clients across regional NSW and VIC.
The Opportunity
Due to our long-term pipeline of work and strong performance in recent contracts, we are now seeking experienced Bitumen Sprayer Operators for our divisions in Dubbo NSW and Wodonga VIC.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful, the applicant would require the following or have the willingness to acquire:
- HR (minimum), or MC or HC Licence
- Experience in spraying, transporting and handling bituminous products
- Dangerous Goods Licence
- Working Safely with Bitumen training
- Proven ability to operate mobile plant
- Proven ability to work within a team
- Practical understanding in Bitumen Spray Sealing or Civil Construction
- General Construction Induction
- Willingness to travel and work away when required
Key Roles
- Operate and maintain a Bitumen Sprayer
- Operate other Spray Sealing plant including, Aggregate Tippers, Loaders, Rollers, and Tractor Brooms
- Perform manual tasks associated with spray sealing when required
- Complete quality documents associated with Spray Sealing
