About the Role
Whitehaven Coal have a new exciting opportunity in our Blackwater Maintenance team for a Warehouse Superintendent.
The role will work with a small team to manage the warehouse and inventory service for our Blackwater operations team.
This will be a site based role Monday to Friday.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Blackwater Maintenance Manager and with a functional report to the Queensland Warehouse Manager your role will consist of:
- Lead the site warehouse team in managing the supply logistics, inventory and consumables for our Blackwater mining, maintenance and processing operations.
- Supply logistics process and procedure creation, review and implementation.
- Supply logistics optimisation strategy, and delivery of business improvement initiatives.
- Shutdown, critical spares and non-business as usual supply logistics planning management.
- Supply disruption management.
- Liaison with Whitehaven corporate business specialists in procurement, inventory management and supply logistics.
What You’ll Bring
- Knowledge of Supply Platforms is essential (the site uses SAP for inventory management).
- Self-motivator who can drive performance and excellence from your direct reports whilst also providing a safe and collaborative work environment.
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills, with the ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.
- High levels of organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
