Brilliant opportunity for an experienced Contracts Administrator located on the Gold Coast .This business, currently with over 100 full-time staff have a successful track record of building a range of commercial and unit projects on the Gold Coast. Due to another project coming online on top of a buoyant workload they are looking to recruit a Contracts Administrator to work on a mid-rise unit, $25M unit project located at Hope Island on the Gold Coast.
Reporting to the Project Manager and alongside another Contracts Administrator, based on site at Hope Island, you will be responsible for the following in the following tasks;
- Contract management
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Letting of Contracts
- Contract procurement & negotiations
- Construct (D&C) projects
- Project Coordination
- Assess progress claims and subcontract payments
- Sub-Contract Contract Variations
- Preparing and submitting variations to the client.
To be suitable for this position, it is anticipated you will have the following;
- 3-7 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator working on high value unit and commercial projects
- Must have worked for builders / builder developers in Australia
- Degree in Construction management or Engineering preferable
- D&C experience ideal
- Unit project experience is highly desirable
- Worked for reputable, established, systems driven contractors.
- A strong communicator, with good written and verbal skills.
- Will reside on the Gold Coast, or close by commutable areas
