What we are seeking:
- Previous experience in Blast Crew - Desired not essential
- Current WA Dangerous Goods Security Card or ability to obtain one
- Current drivers’ licence
- National Police Clearance
- Previous drilling or offsider experience - advantageous not essential
- Previous exposure to hot work environments.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol screen
General duties:
- Following instructions & procedures of team leaders
- Ensuring compliance to all legislative requirements
- Assisting the site shotfirer to safely conduct blasting operations
- Adhering to safety procedures and policies on site
- Providing assistance to Shotfirer and Drillers as required
- General labouring
