about the roleWe are seeking an experienced bookkeeper and office administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, with experience in Xero, Quickbooks & MYOB. In addition to bookkeeping for our clients you will also be assisting with general administration of the business.
10-5 hours per week, fully work from home with the opportunity to expand the role if desired.

Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping for clients using Xero, Quickbooks and MYOB
- Data entry both directly or via Dext
- Accounts payable and supplier reconciliations
- Accounts receivable and invoicing
- Monthly general ledger reconciliation
- Monthly or quarterly superannuation reporting
- IAS preparation and lodgment
- TPAR and other preparation and lodgment
- BAS preparation and lodgment
- Comprehensive understanding of GST and taxation laws
- EOFY accounts preparation for accountant
Work skills
- Work independently as part of a small team
- Work to deadlines
- Time management
- Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience
- Cert IV Bookkeeping
- Available during business hours
- Experience using Karbon preferred but not essential
- Must be able to work independently as part of a remote team
- Industry experience essential
