With the impending retirement of Board Directors at the 2024 AGM, expressions of interest are now being sought for three (3) Board Director roles. These roles provide a unique opportunity to strategically guide the organisation into the future.
Specifically, we seek three (3) Board Directors who can engage and lead a future facing organisation to inspire healthy people and healthy communities. You will be based within the Hunter New England and Central Coast region, where you may have a history of community and government engagement that will allow you to have a perspective on the opportunities for strong engagement and innovation in health care.
For one of these roles we seek Allied Health/Nursing qualifications and experience. Other desirable skills include Community & Public relations, Technology and Innovation proficiency and development. A strong understanding of disadvantaged population primary care provision, and the unique challenges of rural health would also be highly regarded.
Your excellent communication, diplomacy and governance skills, coupled with sound management experience will enable you to build strong relationships across the organisation and with all stakeholders. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates are encouraged to apply, as are those from a culturally and linguistically diverse background.
