Working in the Community Services industry, the role will work with an established board and leadership team who are supportive, adaptive and friendly and who are now seeking a warm, personable and confident individual to join their already thriving and established team in Caloundra.
This role will collaborate with the MD/Board Chair, CEO and executive leaders to coordinate the timely and quality governance, administration and reporting for our client.
The suitable candidate will be required to be flexible in their working hours, with the role offering 20-25 hours / month on a casual basis.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of the organisation's aims and objectives to provide administrative support to the Board.
* Deliver high quality and timely coordination of Board papers and reports each month.
* Organise and attend Board meetings, ensuring relevant resources are available and operational.
* Proepare agendas, collate and circulate papers, record, prepare and circulate minutes.
* Coordinate Board correspondence, as requested by the MD/Board Chair.
* Develop and maintain the necessary registers to ensure records and reporting is prepared in accordance with governance requirements.
* Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, ensuring requirements of ASIC and other regulators are met.
* Liaise effectively with external regulators on governance requirements and processes to demonstrate compliance with statutory obligations.
* Maintain registrations and meet reporting and currency of information with ASIC.
* Develop, implement, communicate and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
* Prepare for and attend meetings outside the usual span of work hours
Mandatory Requirements
* Hold and maintain a current Working with Children Card or Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
* Hold and maintain a current NDIS Worker Screening/Check or NDIS Endorsement
* Return an acceptable National Police Check every two (2) years.
* Hold a valid C Class Driver's Licence
