Stuartholme is a Catholic, Independent Girls’ School catering for Secondary Day and Boarding students. It is committed to the education of young women in the philosophy and tradition of the Society of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Positions
Stuartholme School's Boarding House is seeking to fill certain rostered shifts for Weekend Boarding Supervisors and Overnight Supervisors, and weekday morning shifts, during school terms.
Boarding Supervisors ensure that appropriate supervision of students is provided at all times. They maintain an atmosphere of care, security and good order in which Boarders experience a sense of welcome, belonging, value and respect for their individuality. The typical shifts offered are-
Mornings (weekdays):
- 5:45am-8:45am
Weekends:
- 5.30am - 2:30pm
- 2:30pm -10:30pm
Overnights:
Overnight Supervisors are responsible for the active supervision of all Boarders during the shift and are ‘stay-awake’ positions. The shift times are generally 10:30pm to 6:00am.
Boarding hours may include some public holidays occurring during term time when students are in residence.
There may also be opportunities to join our casual pool for unplanned absences in both the Boarding Supervisors and Overnight Supervisors roles.
Overview
All Boarding positions are responsible to the Principal through the Dean of Boarding. Stuartholme School operates a girls-only boarding facility, and all staff are required to support the ethos of the School as expressed in the Goals of Sacred Heart Education.
Applicants must hold a Positive Notice Blue Card for Child Related Employment to be eligible to be commence employment with Stuartholme.
