Asset Management Analyst

Location:  Tamworth, NSW

THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Council's Asset management systems
  • Assist with the production of Council's Asset Management Plans
  • Data analysis on the maintenance, operation and upgrade of asset infrastructure utilising data from Council's Asset management system

The Asset Management Analyst is responsible for:

  • Preparing reports, programs and data analysis on the maintenance, operation, renewal and upgrade/expansion of asset infrastructure by utilising data from Council’s Asset Management System;
  • Management of the currency and accuracy of Council’s asset register;
  • Collecting, reviewing and incorporating information from Council’s construction activities for reporting; and
  • Assisting with the production of Council’s Asset Management Plans for asset infrastructure.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Systems Development or Civil Engineering or significant experience in the development and management of corporate databases
  • Experience in managing, interpreting, analysing and reporting data for use by a broad range of stakeholders;
  • A demonstrated skillset in database management and systems development; and
  • The proven ability to work independently, stay on task and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • NSW Drivers Licence

Candidates with previous experience in, or exposure to, Asset Management and/or working in an engineering or building environment would be highly regarded.

Salary range: Grade 14 - $87,751.89 - $94,951.12  per annum including superannuation for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
