About the role
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to bogging and transporting material to underground trucks or designated areas as directed by the shift supervisor.
As a self motivated person with a positive attitude you will have the ability to coach and mentor inexperienced operators. With a strong commitment to lead and foster the development of a positive safety culture as well as a continuous improvement mindset, you will demonstrate high levels of safety compliance and leadership.
About You
- Current open drivers' license
- Experience in operating a Bogger (Cat R2900 and/or Sandvik 621) in an underground mining environment.
- Previous experience bogging as your main role is essential from both development and production areas. Remote or automation is desirable.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in underground mining.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical.

The Operation
Tritton Copper Operations is a long life copper operation located near the towns of Nyngan and Cobar in central New South Wales that commenced production in 2005. One hundred percent owned and operated by Aeris Resources, Tritton forms the cornerstone of Aeris copper production.
Tritton comprises an underground mining complex feeding a 1.8 million tonne per annum conventional processing plant. Copper concentrate produced at the operation is railed to the Port of Newcastle for export to customers internationally. The current mine plan for Tritton extends to FY2030.
