Our client is a reputed equipment manufacturer of high-quality conveyor belts for mining and construction applications as well as a service provider of full scope conveyor maintenance and rubber lining supplier business based in Western Australia.
The client is seeking a full-time boilermaker to work primarily in the workshop South of the River with occasional field service duties as needed on a variety of shutdowns throughout WA mines.
Reporting directly to the Supervisor, your role will be focusing on responding to breakdowns, preparing equipment for shutdowns, conducting conveyor maintenance, and inspecting conveyors and associated components. You will join a growing team currently servicing majority of mining customers in WA.
To be successful in this role you will require the following:
• Australian recognized Trade Cert III in Fabrication (Boilermaker/Welder)
• At least 4 years experience working as a boilermaker/fabricator
• Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets within 2 years (desirable).
• HRW License including forklift, basic rigging, EWP (desirable).
• Hold a valid (or willing to obtain) a National Police Clearance
• Current driver’s license
• Reliable and sound work ethic
• Strong OHS commitment
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and maintaining a positive morale through the entirety of the shutdown.
