Salary: $110,000 per annum
Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Boilermaker to perform a range of tasks involving the fabrication, assembly, and repair of metal structures and components. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components according to blueprints and technical drawings.
- Operate metal fabrication machinery such as welders, cutters, and grinders.
- Inspect and test completed products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize designs and fabrication processes.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Boilermaker or Metal Fabricator.
- Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, and Stick).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Commitment to workplace safety.
· AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above. In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
