AddressTruline Engineering (Aust) Pty Ltd is a Structural Steel fabrication business based in Thomastown with job sites all over Melbourne.
Our business has expanded over the past 25 years, and we provide best practice services including steel erection with our own personal cranes.
We are seeking an exceptional full-time Site Boilermaker with experience in layout and steel erection, who is interested in a long-term position with our company.
Salary is $98,800 – $108,680 per annum plus superannuation.
Key Position Requirements:
The successful applicant will be outgoing and self-motivated and required to work with the Site Manager and Site crew for the safe and effective erection of steel in various Melbourne locations. They will also have the following:
- 3+ years’ experience in site welding and steel erection.
- Certificate IV in Metal Engineering/Welding or equivalent Trade Qualifications (preferred but not compulsory).
- Excellent layout skills required.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues.
- Must have white card.
- Well ticketed. EWP and forklift tickets are also preferred.
- Rigging tickets advantageous.
Key Duties:
- Managing workflow and work targets.
- Reading drawings and specifications to determine job requirement.
- Carrying out welding activities to manufacture, fabricate and repair parts and components.
- Fabrication of Structural Steel structures or products.
- Conducting various forms of metal fabrication work including operating drills, presses, metal cutting machinery and a variety of hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Identifying, assessing and controlling workplace hazards.
- Be responsible for the quality assurance of all fabricated members and products in the workshop and onsite.
- Maintaining workplace cleanliness and tool and equipment care.
