Form of work THE COMPANY Australian Crusher Repairs is a locally owned and operated engineering company based in Berkeley Vale NSW, providing expertise in the quarry and mining industry throughout NSW and interstate.THE ROLE We are currently seeking new entrant Apprentices or out of work 1st or 2nd Year Apprentices, who would like the opportunity to complete their Apprenticeships with a local and reputable employer. Australian Crusher Repairs offers guidance and support from highly experienced Tradesmen, along with working on a range of diverse projects.Duties will include but not limited to: Use hand and power tools Perform welding duties Use of Oxy, MIG & TIG Interpreting drawings and diagrams Repair, replace and modify fabrications Carry out measurements and calculations General workshop housekeeping Assist Tradesmen where instructed SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Be able to demonstrate an interest in the trade Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to learn Ability to work as part of a team and show initiative Excellent work ethic, reliable and punctual Have good verbal communication and problem-solving abilities Drivers Licence and own transport At least two contactable References COMPANY CULTURE A wonderful opportunity for a candidate who likes to work closely with the team, is extremely focussed and enjoys working with their hands.
