A unique opportunity has arisen for our Sydney, New South Wales operations and Shadbolt is seeking Boilermakers to join their team.

The role:
We are seeking for motivated, reliable, experienced boilermakers to Join our Sydney, New South Wales Team.

This is a Full Time Permanent Role.
The key responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:
- Perform skilled welding and fabrication work on various project in both mild steel and stainless steel.
- MIG, TIG & ARC welding with the ability to weld stainless steel, mild steel.
- Responsible for interpreting workshop drawings and determining the required method and material,
- Responsible for operating and maintaining measuring tools, power tools, and hand tools.
- Meeting Shadbolt’s quality requirements.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of fabricated components through inspections.
- Liaising with site managers / supervisors
- Fabricate steel or metal components according to drawing and superior instructions.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, including welding machines, torches, grinders, and other tools.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure welded components meet industry standards and project specifications.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Good technical ability
- Good understanding of the boiler making sector
- Excellent knowledge of welding, electrical equipment and liquid pressure systems
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Attention to Detail / Accuracy
- Good quality
- Problem Solving
- Proven Reliability
- Adequate Strength to handle materials, tools and machines
- Good physical health
Qualifications and Experience.
- White card
- High Risk Licences
- Trade Certificate in Fabrication, boilermaking or similar
- Confined space certification
- Safe Working at Heights certification
- Work Platform licence
- CPPFES2005A First Attack Firefighting
Other aspects of this role include:
- Full time position.
- Full medical required for this position.
- Police clearances required for this position.
Clearances required:
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
