Position Overview
- Working on the companies range of mobile construction and Earthmoving Equipment.
- Reading plans/blueprints and carrying out work accordingly.
- Fabrication and pre-delivery fit-out on brand-new equipment.
- Repairs to diesel-powered heavy-duty equipment.
- Welding, grinding and using heavy machinery.
- Working to workplace safety and other standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Cert III Heavy Fabrication/Boilermaker/Welder or equivalent, preferably with Heavy Vehicle modification codes G6/8.
- Sound knowledge and experience working in a similar position. Experience with Truck-mounted equipment highly regarded.
- An honest worker with a good work ethic.
- Mechanically minded, a passion for machinery with interest in learning new equipment.
- Drivers license, HR highly regarded.
- Someone who works well in a small teams and also autonomously.
