Your new role
They are looking for multiple people with proven experience in a workshop and some site environments. Successful candidates will be working alongside a team of skilled boilermakers and welders in the workshops in Pakenham. You will be reporting to the workshop supervisor, and you will be responsible for interpreting workshop drawings and determining the required material, production method, and sequence of operations to produce fabricated parts or repaired products, within the quality requirements. You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining measuring tools, power tools, and hand tools required to produce the fabricated or repaired parts.
There are also opportunities for site work with company vehicles included.
What you'll need to succeed
- Considerable experience in MIG, Tig and Stick welding
- Heavy Fabrication an advantage
- Ability to work alone or in a team environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Skilled in operating equipment used in fabrication
- Current and valid driving licence
- Candidates with a forklift, dogman (DG) and/or high-risk work licences are encouraged to apply
