About the Position
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for someone who loves working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. If that sounds like you and you thrive on a challenge, then why not join our team as a Boilermaker at Proserpine Mill. This is a permanent full-time position where penalties are paid for working over your 38 hour per week roster! Job level will depend on current qualifications and skills mix.
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Variety of duties from in-house fabrication and installation to breakdown maintenance
- Carrying out repairs of bridge steel supports
- Undertaking repairs and modifications to railway turnouts and their components including mig and stick welding of rail joints
- Active involvement and coaching of assistance, ensuring safe working procedures are achieved

Essential Criteria:
- A Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication
- A proven high quality of joint welding
- Good organisational, planning and decision making skills
- Be safety focussed with a focus on housekeeping
- Previous Heavy Industrial work history highly regarded
