Boilermaker/ Welder - Town Workshop

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks on heavy mobile equipment, including but not limited to bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate welding procedures.
• Set up welding equipment and machinery, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
• Conduct thorough inspections of equipment, identifying any welding defects or issues that may arise.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a welder with a focus on heavy mobile equipment. A minimum of 2 years of relevant welding experience is required.
• Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, arc, and oxy-acetylene welding.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of different welding materials and their applications in mobile equipment construction.
• Possess a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds.
• Welding certification or relevant trade qualifications.
