Our Belmont-based client services Western Australia's communications and power industries, utilising skilled workers and state-of-the-art machinery. With a pipeline of contracts, we require qualified Boilermakers or Coded Welders to assist in the conversion of shipping containers to self-powered crib, site and control room offices.
Converting containers will involve oxy cutting, reinforcing walls, construction of frames for windows, doors, solar panels, etc. Working Monday to Friday 8 hours per day with the option of overtime.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret workshop/structural drawings
- Cut, measure and tac materials to meet specifications
- Fabricate and weld frames as required
- Ability to work in small team environment
- Work with other trades to assist in installing windows, doors, insulation material, solar panels etc
- Must be a team player who works well with others and promotes a safe a positive workplace
- Ability to read drawings and have sound welding skills
- Attention to detail and take pride in your work
Qualifications/ Tickets/ Licences:
- Trade Qualified as Boilermaker or Coded Welder.
- C Class Licence.
