Founded in 2012 we are a boutique hospitality business with 2 restaurants, a private function venue, a luxury charter boat and a theming/catering company in Hobart, with more expansion planned in 2024.
The Job
We require the services of a reliable in-house Bookkeeper to support our team.
For the right person, this role is somewhere around 4 days or 30 hours a week and we're very happy to find the right schedule to that works for both.
Wages
- Award wages apply.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping in MYOB Account Right
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Payroll & Leave management.
- Basic Financial reporting
Tax
- Partner with our BAS agent quarterly.
Banking
- Prepare & upload all banking transactions to Bank (ANZ)
- Submit for approval.
Employment Admin
- Create & manage employee profiles.
- Setting up new employees - Onboarding process
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter, well presented, you'll need to manage your own schedule and stay on top of your daily tasks and report to management.
MUST BE ABLE TO PRODUCE REPORTS ON TIME.
Must have:
Candidates should only apply if they have been working in a bookkeeping role for at least 4 year.
- Experience with MYOB Account Right Bookkeeping side is mandatory.
- High attention to detail and numeracy.
- Ability to analysis individual businesses.
- Trustworthy and high integrity.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A team player who is happy to help out across the team.
- Hold Australian Citizenship or Australian Resident visa.
