Job description

Physiotherapy Outpatients are looking for an Administration Officer to join their Princess Alexandra Hospital team. To respond to general customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate information and assistance to clients and staff to facilitate service delivery within the Hospital setting. Register patient data onto relevant electronic databases and ensure patient data is updated in a timely manner.

About the Role

  • Organise and coordinate patients appointment activities, including the arrival of patients, booking appointments, management of cancellation/rescheduling of clinics, management of clinic waiting lists and coordinating appointments with other services. Ensuring transportation and follow up appointments are arranged.
  • Book in, book out, cancel and / or re-book outpatients and clinics on outpatient system. Ensuring transportation and follow up appointments are arranged.
  • Prepare electronic and manual medical record for new and review patients including sorting and distributing patients results (e.g. pathology, x-ray, etc) in accordance with appropriate unit practices.
  • Proficiently complete functions associated with the wait list of patients, booking for procedures/appointments, managing cancellations, rescheduling and removals from the waiting list using the relevant information systems in a timely manner.
