About the Position

The City of Bayswater is seeking a highly motivated and detail orientated individual to join the Recreation Team as a Bookings Officer on a permanent full-time basis.

This role will focus on the efficient coordination and processing of bookings within City facilities. Attention to detail, a high level of customer service and administration is crucial in this role.

About You  

This role would suit a confident, administrative focused professional who will strive to deliver positive community outcomes.

  • You Ensure the efficient coordination and processing of bookings on reserves, and within City facilities, through the computerised Facilities Management System, including the issuing of contracts, correspondence and invoices.
  • Be a primary point of contact for booking enquiries whilst developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external key stakeholders.
  • Provide booking and administration support to the wider Bookings team as required.
  • Complete relevant administration tasks with a high level of accuracy, efficiency and service.
  • Provide a high level of customer service consistent with the City's Customer Service Charter.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in processing financial transactions.
  • Exercise duty of care and work in a safe and efficient manner, having regard for your own safety and that of other workers and the general public.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and assist others to achieve service unit goals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operations. will also need to be able to complete the following tasks.

Previous experience working within a multi-purpose aquatic and/or recreation centre is desirable.
