Bookkeeper / BAS Preparer

Experienced, Professional Bookkeeper / BAS Preparer required.

We are a dynamic, thriving accounting practice located in Alexandria needing a Full Time, Experienced Bookkeeper / BAS Preparer Professional to assist with input & reconciliation of computerised accounts as well as preparation of BAS, reporting & budgeting.

The ideal candidate:

• Must have 5 years+ history / hands-on experience as a working bookkeeper.
• Certification in Xero & Xero Payroll is a must, with proficiency in other accounting systems such as MYOB.
• Must be able to demonstrate advanced skills in Excel.
• Needs to be self-motivated and capable of excelling in a small team environment.
• Will have strong attention to detail, and a methodical approach to tasks. 
• Must be authorised to work in Australia indefinitely.

The Role:

• Across a diverse range of mainly small business clients, individuals & associated entities
• Input, reconciliation & review of data in Xero, MYOB, and Spreadsheets
• Preparation of BAS, IAS, TPAR, Workers Comp declarations, STP and superannuation
• Ongoing reporting & cash flow preparation
• Manage weekly accounts receivable, accounts payable and debtors’ management.
• Processing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for clients

The package:

• You will be engaged on a full-time basis with a package commensurate with experience.
• Monday to Friday office hours
• On-site at our office in Alexandria
