Chris Barron Engineering, located in Wingfield, SA, is the leading South Australian specialist in manufacturing high quality custom aluminium truck bull bars.
We are looking to fill a part time Bookkeeper / Administration position with the hours being 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday. You will be joining a team of 17 staff.
You are expected to have a good work ethic, be reliable and able to work autonomously. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the office and will work closely with the Founder, Chris Barron and Director, Robert Barron.
The role and responsibilities will include:
- Familiar with MYOB AccountRight or similar accounting software (e.g. Xero).
- Weekly payroll including Single Touch Payroll Reporting to the ATO.
- Accounts payable and receivable.
- Bank reconciliations.
- BAS and PAYG preparations.
- Preparation of EOFY Accounts together with Company Accountant.
- Assist with WH&S requirements.
- Oversee the general office administrative duties including filing and office care
- first point of contact for the Business (phone and reception)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Oversee ingoing and outgoing emails.
