Permanent Part Time Role
About Position
In office bookkeeping position (24 – 32 hours) based in an accounting firm in Lilydale. We can accommodate flexible working hours/days for the right candidate.
YOUR DUTIES
- Preparation of BAS & IAS
- Management of multiple client’s data files on a regular basis
- Data Entry from source documents and/or bank feeds
- Coding and Posting of client records
- General Ledger Maintenance and reconciliations
- Liaising with clients and ATO
- Bank Reconciliations
- Answering phones and greeting visitors when needed
YOUR SKILLS
- Experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and/or Cashflow Manager
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Willingness to assist colleagues when needed
- Proven communication skills and a professional attitude
- Personable phone manner
- Ability to learn new systems
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years experience in a Bookkeeping Role required
- Experience in a public Practice Accounting firm preferred but not essential
