Our bottle shop attendants provide an excellent retail experience through warm & friendly customer service. The role assists and educates our customers on wine and liquor options. A desire to stay up to date with liquor and wine trends and knowledge is essential. The role involves customer service, cash handling, running tastings and stocking shelves to create a welcoming environment for our patrons, ensuring customers receive exceptional experiences every time.
We are seeking bottle shop attendants for both our Prospect (Cellarbrations) and Kings Meadows (Porters) locations.
Your typical day will include:
- Stocking shelves, fridges and floor displays
- Ensure stock is presented correctly and appealingly (facing)
- Ensure thorough stock rotation
- Record all wastages
- Check off all invoices accurately and report discrepancies
- Stock ordering
- Current and clear ticketing
- Ambience and cleanliness of the store to be maintained (interior, exterior)
- In store promotions are displayed properly
- Floor and fridge displays presentable at all times
- Always ensure positive customer service
- Individual presentation and uniform maintained to a high standard
Systems (training provided)
- Use of POS & Ticketing Software (H&L)
- Electronic timekeeping via App or desktop PC (Employment Hero)
Training and development
- Participation in any required/ elective training
- Undertake periodical professional review
About You
- Friendly and outgoing demeanor
- Capable of physical work (can safely lift 20kg & standing for shift)
- Thrive in a busy service environment
- Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- Confident numeracy and cash handling skills
- High standard of presentation & grooming
Requirements
- Australian resident for taxation purposes
- Current RSA & RST certification
Desirable Experience
- 2+ years experience in customer facing service roles
- Wine and spirits knowledge
- Current High Risk licence (Forklift)
