- This Allied Health Professional is an integral part of the multidisciplinary health care team providing, planning and delivering comprehensive, high-quality care to clients within the Far West Local Health District (FWLHD) Brighter Beginnings program in order to support management of their health needs and to promote wellness.
- The Senior Clinical Speech Pathologist is responsible for providing a range of high-level assessment, therapeutic and preventative Speech Pathology services in their identified specialty area, within scope, according to relevant models of care and priorities.

- Holds a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical practice knowledge, skills and experience within Paediatric Speech Pathology, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice.
- Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures for service improvement, with skills in providing education and training.
- Strong time management skills, written and verbal communication and IT skills including the ability or willingness to use Telehealth as a mode of delivery of clinical care.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, implement and evaluate quality improvement initiatives, research, and service development processes.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical and team leadership, including experience in staff and student supervision.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication skills including negotiation, decision making, advocacy and the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Evidence of a Class C drivers licence and willingness to travel for work purposes.
