Position Summary

The Boutique Concierge is an integral part of the Kennedy boutique operations, acting as an ambassador for some of the most well-known brands in the world.  The Boutique Concierge will deliver a warm welcome and farewell to each client, offer excellent and personalised service, be a strong support to the Sales Associates, and manage the client-to-employee ratio in the boutique via the booking system.

This is a casual position of approximately 20 hours per week, including weekends and extended hours.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Welcoming clients according to boutique standards upon entry, working alongside the doorman.
• Ensuring that all clients are attended to within the boutique by delivering customer excellence and personalised service.
• Assisting the sales team by providing beverages to clients and collecting and displaying products.
• Escalating any complex, detailed, or challenging queries beyond position responsibilities (e.g. sales, product knowledge, or boutique operations) to Boutique Management Team or most senior staff member of duty
• Using the appointment calendar to guide clients to the correct Sales Associate.
• Offering refreshments and a suitable place to wait for clients whilst they are waiting for Sales Associates. 
• Keeping the fridge stocked for refreshments. and maintain the back room and ensure glasses and cutlery are cleaned.
• Upholding immaculate presentation standards, in line with the standards outlined by the company grooming policy. 
• Maintaining an alert presence in the entrance of the boutique and be security conscious at all times, informing the Boutique Manager of anything suspicious.
• Effectively managing the flow of client traffic at the boutique
• Answering phone enquiries 
• Keeping the surfaces clean throughout the gallery area
• General tasks as set by the Boutique Manager/Assistant Boutique Manager. 

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in a similar position in the luxury retail environment essential
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Immaculate presentation and personal grooming
• A Police Check that is clear and to our satisfaction is a condition of employment.
