About the company:
Leading electrical engineering manufacturer specializing in integrated electrical, electronic and control solutions based in the Eastern Suburbs. Servicing the mining and camping industries Australia wide for 40+ years.
In this role you will be:
- Set and operate Brake press
- Assist with other areas such as laser and assembly
- Lead a small team in the fabrication area
- Measuring parts with Vernier, Micrometer and CMM
- Spot welding set and operate - MIG experience highly regarded
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Able to use a multitude of hand tools and machines related to machine and fabrication shops(specific machine training will be provided)
- Solid understanding of basic welding and Brake Press operation
- High attention to detail and able to read working drawings
- Working knowledge of basic quality principles
- Good communication skills - Leadership qualities
