Form of workWe currently have vacancy for a CNC Brake Press Operator to work on our client site based out of Bayswater. The ideal candidate will have come from a similar working environment who is looking to diversify their knowledge;
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Efficiently work allocated presses as per schedule
- Complete all start-up and end of shifts checks, press log sheets and other documentation as required
- Able to press up to 6mm thick
- Able to roll up to 12m long
- Able to cut up to 70mm thick
- Bevels -45 to +45 degrees
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Actively participate in toolbox talks
- Carry out risk assessments for tasks as required.
- Minimum 2 years CNC/Brake Press Operator experience
- Forklift licence
- Ability to work alone and part of a team
- Enthusiasm, self-drive and a positive mindset
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Prior experience in Sheetmetal bending/folding
- Experience operating flat bed laser cutter
- Previous experience in programming brake press
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Quality assurance and inspection of parts
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Overtime available
