The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity for a Warehouse
Branch Controller (Insulation) to join our team at our Bradford Insulation site in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales.You will be working Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm.Ideally, the successful applicant will be required to have a manufacturing/warehouse background, hold a forklift licence, and have good communication skills with a strong awareness and regard for health, safety and the environment.
Duties & Responsibilities- Ensure accurate stock tracking and inventory management of the branch
- Familiarise and adhere to all pertinent procedures
- Enhance the turnover rate of slow-moving inventory
- Effectively manage customer expectations by providing precise communication with both internal and external clients
- Uphold compliance with relevant job safety instructions
- Perform hazard inspections and SHE audit to reduce risks through a risk reduction plan
- Implement and enforce customer credit policies, procedures, and systems at the branch
- Ensure adherence to pertinent job safety instructions
- Follow WHSE authorities as delineated in the responsibilities matrix
- Maintain compliance with all Chain of Responsibility (COR) responsibilities while executing tasks as the Loader, Consignees, and Consignor
- Understand and adhere to all applicable audit requirements
- Coordinate transportation needs to uphold stock levels at the Branch
- Grasp the objectives and targets of the branch and collaborate with the Area Manager to identify opportunities for positive improvement and contribution
About you- Demonstrated experience in warehousing / customer service role
- Computer Systems MS Office, SAP or similar application
- Forklift Licence (current)
- First Aid certificate (current or willing to obtain)
