Your Role
You’ll report to the Manager and achieve efficiency and quality of service by maintaining and managing the operations delivery of the workshop, whilst complying with WHS requirements and dealership industry standards. You’ll be based in the workshop although, some office and dealer duties are required. On a daily basis, your responsibilities will include;
- Scheduling works and allocating technical resources to jobs
- Lead a team of technical staff from end-to-end of the job and update customers in a friendly and timely manner on the progress of their job
- Identify areas of concern that may cause delays and advise management or customers where required
- Technically lead and undertake the workshop services duties, to lead an example in maintaining agricultural vehicles and machinery
- Comply with all WHS and Compliance requirements
- Interpret customer expectations and schedule works according to urgencies
- Work closely with Parts Departments and Suppliers and set reasonable timeframes to customers or management where required
- Use Dealer Portals to log machine faults, obtain technical assistance and pricing details
- Provide excellent customer service at all times, to both internal and external parties
- Manage performance of all direct workshop staff whilst modelling leadership behaviours congruent with a fast paced environment
- Operate business equipment, tools and forklifts as required whilst complying to WHS policies
- Use internal MS Office, CRM and Dealer Portals daily to ensure relevant information is accurate and shared with management and customers effectively
The position is full-time permanent, and based in Kadina, SA. Remuneration is inclusive of an attractive Base + Super, commensurate with experience.
About You
- Relevant Mechanical Trade Qualifications in Heavy Vehicles/ Machinery
- At least 5 years of experience in a workshop environment
- Excellent skills in time management, computer systems, customer service and team work
- Ideally you will know farming or agriculture machinery and equipment well
- Experience in front line management of staff
- An active Drivers’ licence and Forklift licence
- Hiring and training experience, together with advanced levels of privacy and confidentiality
- A great team player who believes in their brand and enjoys working in dynamic teams
