Council is undertaking a major redevelopment within the CBD referred to as the Precinct. The project’s goal is to deliver new infrastructure, services and amenity to this precinct that will deliver economic growth and Activation both within the precinct and the wider CBD and establish and grow commercial value in the Precinct.
The Brand and Activation Manager is responsible for the development, management and delivery of the marketing, communications, engagement and events strategies to support the commercial initiatives of the Precinct’s development.
In this role, you will:
- Develop and implement the marketing, engagement and event activation framework and strategies that support the Precinct’s commercial initiatives.
- Develop and manage the Precinct’s brand through effective representation and innovative multi-channel programs and Activations that drive increased traffic, enhance the visitor experience, and create opportunities for retailers to engage with the community.
- Manage a framework which effectively communicates the progress and reporting of identified projects to relevant Precinct stakeholders.
- Monitor, measure and report the delivery of outcomes within the section.
- Background in retail, leisure or shopping centres
- Superpower project management skills
- Strong stakeholder manager experience and confidence to talk to all levels from the tenancy owner to the CEO, and patience to manage a political environment
- Ability to work autonomously, take charge and will hit the ground running
- Event management understanding - managing event delivery would be highly regarded
