Our mission is to build capacity by delivering comprehensive disability services, specialising in Community Access, Homes & Living, sensory services, positive behaviour support and children's therapies. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Brand and Marketing Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing marketing and branding advice and support to the different stakeholders of the business.
  • Manage and create all branded collateral, including all graphic design assets, print materials and website authoring.
  • Plan, develop and review content for all of the marketing and communications channels, both internal and external, including but not limited to employee communications, website, EDM, social media, newsletters, and the Annual Report. Interviewing and capturing appropriate images of our customers (clients and employees) to use across internal and external communications such as social media, news articles, external and internal newsletters, and award nominations employees) to use across internal and external communications such as social media, news articles, external and internal newsletters, and award nominations. Developing documents/digital updates for different levels of accessibility including screen readers for blind or vision impaired and easy read formats.
  • Maintaining social media channels.
  • Ensuring compliance across marketing channels with SensesWA’s style guide, corporate brand and voice.
  • Undertaking graphic design (letterhead and PowerPoint templates, style guides, advertisements, fliers and other marketing material) and printing of general marketing collateral.
  • Preparing, designing and issue external electronic and print newsletters.
Key Communications:
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with both external and internal key stakeholders, leaders, supervisors and employees.
  • Adapt knowledge and expertise across a range of different scenarios (or client group needs).
  • Demonstrate effective listening skills and seek, provide and/or share information in an appropriate and respectful manner.
  • Accept responsibility for the timely provision of advice and assistance.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Tertiary qualification(s)­ in marketing, public relations or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of services marketing principles and techniques.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the digital space including web authoring, digital marketing, social media, and mobile applications.
  • Demonstrated skills and ability in desktop publishing and graphic design skills including use of:
  • Adobe creative suite
  • Graphic-design tool such as ‘Canva’ or similar
  • InDesign Software
  • Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • WordPress
  • Past success in producing publishable resources using photography and videography.
  • Evidence of past success in working both autonomously, as well as collaboratively and flexibly in a team environment.
  • Past evidence of success in identifying opportunities for, building and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills:
  • Current knowledge of legislative obligations for Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety and Health and how these impact on employment and service delivery.
  • Past experience in a Not-For-Profit environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of, and a commitment to, the Disability Service Standards.
Essential Compliance Criteria:
  • National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening Clearance.
  • Current and Valid WA Working with Children Check.
  • Current Western Australian motor vehicle driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel or work across any SensesWA locations, including potential intra and interstate travel.
