Position: Distribution Contractor for Tip Top Bakeries

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Distribution Contractor to join our team, servicing Tip Top Bakeries in Wagga Wagga. While this position is advertised as casual, there will be regular shifts available each week, with occasional opportunities for extended work to accommodate holidays.

Immediate start is available, and comprehensive training will be provided. An MR (medium rigid) truck license is required for this role, and although prior experience is preferable, it is not essential. Please be aware that some heavy lifting may be involved.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our customer-focused operations, requiring excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and decision-making abilities. Reliability and discipline are also crucial attributes.

Responsibilities include picking and packing bread products, loading crates onto dollies and trucks, making customer deliveries (driving responsibly), effective communication, data entry on handheld devices, and maintaining cleanliness standards at the workplace and vehicles.

Please note that this is night-time work, which may commence prior to midnight and finish as late as midday.

To ensure compliance with fatigue management regulations, applicants must reside either in Wagga Wagga or its immediate vicinity.
