We are a 20 year+ well-established, iconic busy beach side hospitality business operating 2 beachside cafes at the southern end of the Gold Coast seeking a motivated, talented and reliable chef to join our team.
You will join a well established team ensuring a successful supported transition. and will be part of an existing rotational roster allowing for scheduled weekends off.
Core responsibilities include, but not limited to -
The delivery of consistent quality food with both grill and plating up capacities.
Implementation of creative, on trend monthly food specials.
On premise baking.
Consistent documented delivery of kitchen safety and food health standards.
Produce ordering within the set financial KPI's.
Opening and closing routines.
To be successful you must have some or all of the following attributes –
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar fast paced modern breakfast, lunch venue
Ability to work well under pressure within a fast paced environment.
Well organised and process driven.
Documented successful chef career, including necessary certification.
Creative cooking flair.
Hospitality commercial acumen.
Motivated and proactive work ethic.
Work well in a team environment.
Strong communication skills.
