Our Yatala, QLD site is currently looking for a Brewery Technician to support in the Brewhouse, Filtration, or Transfer process areas contributing to the production of beer. Our team is dedicated and enthusiastic about their work and joining us will allow you develop your skills with the guidance of a supportive team. 

this position requires availability for a rotating shift roster of day, and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring of processes within the Brewhouse, Filtration, or Transfer process areas
• Quality assurance checks and analysis 
• Address and seek solutions for risks or identified quality or process issues
• Carry out scheduled cleaning throughout the process area
• Ensure compliance to workplace health and safety requirements

About You

We're on the lookout for a proactive team player with strong mechanical aptitude, driven by a passion for learning and further development. You'll be a great fit for the role if you have a passion or interest in brewing, in addition to:

• Experience as a process operator in a manufacturing environment
• Experience in an FMCG environment, ideally Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, or similar
• Strong mechanical aptitude, gained through qualifications or experience
• Great attention to detail and problem solving skills, with experience using a systematic approach to identify and rectify issues
• A positive attitude and desire to learn
• The physical capacity to perform the manual tasks associated with the position, and commitment to safety as a priority in all areas of your work
• The ability to work unsupervised, while being proactive in identifying opportunities to continuously improve the safety, quality and efficiency across your process area and the wider business
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
