Opportunities availableWe are looking for an all rounder or two exceptionally talented and skilled team players.
A couture dressmaker, couture finisher and assistant cutter.
To be successful in this role you will have a creative ‘hands on’ approach, a ‘can do’ attitude, a persevering nature, an honest and sincere work ethic and of course, a real LOVE for couture.
We have built our reputation upon an incredibly high standard of product and service, so it is imperative we find someone who is reliable and passionate in the work that they do, demonstrating this every day in their care for our clientele, and in the dresses they produce.
The ideal candidate for the Couture Dressmaking position will have:- a minimum of 5 years of experience working in Bridal Couture.
- Advanced couture dressmaking skills, proficient with industrial machine use
- Strong garment construction knowledge and the ability to understand and interpret designs and patterns.
- The ability to work to measurements of the body.
- An excellent eye for detail, fitting and couture finishing.
- The ability to interpret and complete complex alterations with minimal supervision
- The ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines, resolving problems calmly and meticulously.
The ideal candidate for the Finishing and Cutting position will have:
- a minimum of 2 years of experience working with lace applique, beading and other bridal finishing.
- exceptional hand sewing skills
- Experience in cutting
- knowledge of different techniques of finishing
- can work autonomously and swiftly to meet deadlines.
